Jason Cobb served in the United States Navy for 23 years in front of his retirement in July of 2019.
The last half of his naval career was spent as a certified Master Training Specialist focusing on curriculum development and instructional design at the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit (CNATTU) Whidbey Island, and multiple operational squadrons.
He developed, implemented, and instructed a tactically relevant training syllabus for over 870 personnel in a combat environment, resulting in a 98% Fully Mission Capable status.
In addition, he led 42 personnel in the delivery of over 13,000 hours of instruction to over 100 students, which culminated in a 97% graduation rate.
Since joining NDRI, he has been involved in multiple projects and studies on firefighter health to include diversity and inclusion, bullying, alcohol awareness, and cancer support.
